9 January 2021 today according to Hindu calendar we are celebrating EKADASHI with the name of “SAPHALA EKADASHI”
This fascinating festival is whole heartedly denote to lord Vishnu and he took many Avatar on this mind-blowing earth just to balance sin and virtue. Effectively and Efficiently without giving trouble to anyone else on this Blue planet.
Ekadashi Festival denote with many name and many stories are behind it which actually taught us the lesson of how to balance every human by themselves.
Just by way of doing fasting so that this will help them to balance their body ,mind, emotions , language ,love, happiness , help , care , devotion, meditation and many things will taught you by doing fasting.
First and for most commitment that We have to do it for us and for others.
Ekadashi Festival story is really awesome I think every one should atleast know about it. “SAPHALA EKADASHI” In early century king Mahishmat used to rule the Champawati city. He has four sons among which Lumbak was very cruel and immoral. He use to spent his father’s money on wrong deeds. Getting saddened by his wrong doings, the king banish him.still Lumbak habit is loot and theft didn’t end.one day he didn’t get food for 3 days amble around, he reached the hut of ascetic. Fortunately it was “SAPHALA EKADASHI ” on that day. So the ascetic welcomed him and offered him food. Witnessing this behaviour of the sage changed Lumbak. He fell to the ascetic feet and asked for his blessing and with time Lumbak character good and clean. As per his guidance Lumbak started fasting for Ekadashi. When he changed completely and become a good man the ascetic showed his true form to him. It was his father in the form of ascetic. After this Lumbak started handling his responsibilities greatly as a kind and set an example infront of everyone and filled with great success then he started keeping “SAPHALA EKADASHI ” fast every year so that he just balance his own unethical behaviour over his ethical behaviour by his own.
So moral of the whole story
